Nice one lisa😊
Thank you.
I love that one! Never judge another one because we are not this person.
Good rules. 🙂
This speaks to me in 2 major ways. Thanks for sharing!
I picked this one based on some things happening in society right now. It has spoken to me since I was a young teen.
I think we are discussing the same thing.
We are and it has me shook. I can’t get out of my feeling about this.
Nice! Like this one “never judge a man until you have walked a mile in his moccassins” an old Native American saying…
Atticus Finch was one of the most impressionable characters I’ve read. I was so taken with him and Scout, and Boo Radley who was so misunderstood. The story never grows old, is always timeless. Thanks for sharing, Lisa.
I totally agree. I loved this book and can’t wait to get my hands on the sequel coming in July.
I don’t believe there is a sequel, though Harper Lee does have a book scheduled for release this month.
Technically it is not a sequel because it was written first. Here is what I found: Go Set a Watchman features many of the characters from To Kill a Mockingbird some twenty years later. Returning home to Maycomb to visit her father, Jean Louise Finch—Scout—struggles with issues both personal and political, involving Atticus, society, and the small Alabama town that shaped her.
Right, that’s what I read. Perhaps a pre-quel? 😉
