Hi Guys,

I just wanted to write a quick post to let you all know that 2 of my posts have been featured on the BlogHer site!

I was super excited when I checked my profile and noticed one of my blogs had a different picture than the original one I posted. When I clicked on the story I realized the title had been changed from “How to Write a Great Love Letter to Your Spouse” to “5 Simple Steps to Write the Perfect Love Letter to Your Spouse”. There were a few minor changes to the article done by the editor and then it was featured in the Love & Sex section of their site and has been read 230 times.

The second post again had a different picture, for copyright reasons I assumed, but this one had the same title; 5 Things We Learned from Solange’s Wedding. They changed the pictures I posted into links as well as the video, but the post was pretty much left alone. To date this post has been read 472 times!

I can’t tell you how excited I am about this recognition with this being the first time I have participated in the NaBloPoMo event. If you haven’t done so, please read the articles and let me know what you think. I value all feedback.

Friday Dance!!!

Hi guys,

Its Friday and there’s a tradition in my house that I get a Friday Dance every week from my hubby! Since I have let my husband off the hook from performing his Friday duties for quite some time I am going through withdrawls. I have the shakes and I need my fix! I’ve got some good stuff and about to get my high on, but I am feeling like I need some company. As any good addict would, I have decided to share my high with you. Every Friday I will post a video with music that makes me happy and gets us in the mood to tackle Friday and start the weekend baby! Today’s selection is from Goapele’s upcoming album “Strong Like Glass”. This single is out now and the whole joint will be released on the 21st of October. Take a listen and let it make you happy.
