Ten Things That Make Me AWESOME!!!

I fell in love at first sight when I was 25 and love the man more today than I did way back then. He’s Awesome too!
This year I finally achieved my goal of writing my first novel! Totally Awwwwesome.
I have an awesome cat who loves to get into mischief.
I love sharks and they are super AWESOME! Viva la Shark Week.
My singing voice is awesome, but only in my head. When it leaves my mouth watch out.
Criminal Minds is one of my favorite shows! Hotch & Co are AWESOME!!!
My husband thinks my cooking is awesome. I can bake with the best of them.
I am a super fan of the UT Lady Vols Basketball Team and they are the most awesome team in the world!!
I survived being the youngest of seven children born to my mother and that makes me Awesome!
I can spell the word AWESOME!

Now for the blogs that I think are Epic enough for the Epically Awesome Award! Some are old friends and some are new, but they are are definitely epic and I hope you visit their blogs.

(Just Like)Starting Over…. That was a song back in the 80s by John Lennon and the title explains why I started writing my blog. I needed way to express my feelings coming out of a dark time in my life, a rebirth if you will. I was happy and refreshed and wanted to share my writing with someone other than myself. I had a dream to become a writer and decided it was time to pursue that passion. My first post was one about a subject I saw on television that sparked a concern in me and I haven’t looked back since.

Though I have only been doing this a little over a year and a half, I am enjoying the process and I have released my first novel, with my second almost ready for editing. With the love and support from my wonderful husband and the great readers I have made writing my new career. My advice to new bloggers is to stay true to who you are. There are people out there that think like you or admire the way you do things. The blogging world can have some sharks out there, but for the most part, the people you run across are great supporters and you will develop unlikely friendships from all over the world. Write and keep writing.

Alright, enough of the mushy stuff. lol Let’s nominate a few people and spread the love!

Happy Happy, Joy, Joy! I am glad to report that the lovely and talented Erika Kind has nominated my blog for the Dragon’s Loyalty Award!!! Thank you so much Erika.

What does that mean you might ask. Well I had to do some digging myself, but this is what I found:

What is the last book that you read and how did it make you feel? The last book I read was a book called Boy Toy by Cat Meyers. It took me on a road of different emotions, but it left me with a feeling of hope for the future.
Where were you born? I was born on an Air Force Base in Michigan that no longer exists.
