In June, we here at Rebirthoflisa are celebrating Black Music Month. Therefore, the #wcw challenge will focus on music. This week’s entry is from rapper/actress/songstress Lauryn Hill:
Thanks to those who participated in last week’s challenge. Please remember to ping back to this post and tag #wcw so I can find your posts.

I miss good music. Real music. I feel like everyone talks about how much they miss it but no one is really boycotting this crap we listen to in order to get it back. 😦
I boycott it by not listening to or buying it. They will not get my hard earned coin!
I definitely try only to support artists who’s music I truly appreciate. But sometimes I slip – shame on me. I will try hard to do better, though!
We all do. I know I have a ratchet moment or two. Blame it on the beat! Lol
I clicked because I saw Ms. Lauryn Hill’s name.m; naturally as a fan, I wanted to know more. There’s always more with Lauryn than her music alone. You may want to check out ,”Finding Ms. Lauryn Hill’s Lost Ones”, an article I recently wrote after attending one of her Small Axe performances outside Philly. She never ceases to amaze … http://somerempress.com/2015/04/15/finding-ms-lauryn-hills-lost-ones/
Not “name.m;” but “name;” stupid autocorrect.
Very well written. Thanks for sharing.
